MAIL FRAUD

Filed under: Blog — admin @ 10:29 am

I am almost financially recovered from this little incident that happened about a year ago. I am getting my credit card back next Friday and I can buy back some of my previous possessions that I had to sell after bankruptcy. You see, almost one year ago, I received a letter in the mail that was from some agency that I have never heard of. I forgot the name of the agency after I threw out the envelope in which this paper came; if only I had kept the envelope, I would have sued these people for all that they were worth. Once I opened the envelope, I could not believe what I was seeing! There was an apparent document that read “Congratulations! You have won two million dollars!” I was so naïve back then. I thought nothing of the fact that they wanted my social security for “confidential purposes” before they could mail me the check for two million dollars. One can probably guess what happened next. Within two days, my bank account was in a negative balance and I was forced to file bankruptcy. I am almost done filling out all of the documents to be done with all of this nasty business. After bankruptcy, I plan on celebrating by going out to dinner with my family.
