JAVA-JOCKEY
I’m glad I never have to worry about bancarrota. It’s great to have rich parents. I have to get a job and everything, but that’s only to show Mom and Dad that I’m not lazy. So I’m serving people coffee. It’s not the most complicated job or the most lucrative, but it’s close to the penthouse and the schedule’s set so I can sleep in every day. Not too shabby. When I’m working, I tell people I’m filing for bancarrota or that I’m poor and going to school or whatever they want to hear. Hey, I’m only trying to fit in and no one would believe a rich guy is working at Starbuck’s for minimum wage. Especially not when his parents are alternative media moguls. They invented some sort of adware and used the money off that to start all these news websites and have been building up an even bigger and bigger fortune since. If they never worked another day of their lives, they’d still never have to worry. I’d never have to worry. But I don’t want to lie around all day, eating donuts and watching TV, though I still take a day to do that every so often. I don’t want to get fat. But I do want to get out into the world and meet people. Get to know them! I don’t want to be isolated. So a java-jockey I’ll be.
