HELPING PEOPLE
I never really considered it as an option before, but I think I'd like to be a personal injury attorney. I've been spending my time lately running down a list of careers where I think I could really make a difference and after reading about what they have to do I think I've found it! I would love helping people this way. I've always been fascinated with the work that attorneys have to do. I think I would be really good at it. I ran the idea by my parents and I think they were both pretty impressed with the decision. I don't think they were expecting it at all. My mom told me she always thought I was going to be an artist and my dad thought that I would wind up travelling around the world like my brother did. I was telling them that if I become a personal injury attorney it will still be possible for me to travel and be an artist. Sure, I might not be able to devote as much time to it as I would otherwise but it's still possible. I'd be making better money than my brother who is working a few minimum wage jobs to be able to do what he's doing. I told them I thought there was a better way. After listening to me talk about my plan for a little while, they had to agree!
